I participated as a youth and as an adult. My favorite memories are from Aldersgate!!! The pay phone in the hallway that people stood in line to use. The fireplace room The boys wing and the girls wing (and the year they switched them and everyone was confused!!). The "smoking area" outside of the boys wing. Ty going through the glass in the common room. The lobby area where everyone would hang out. Going to Dietz on Wednesdays for our picnic. Having service each night in the dining room. I'm sure there are more memories but those are the highlights. Participating in 18 years of COP has given me great joy and a sense of accomplishment that I have not found anywhere else. Such a great program for the youth and adults who participate and for the communities of Sussex County who have been touched by 40 years of projects. Cheers to 40 more years!!

Man COP, what a blast Heck I had so much fun, time just flew by so fast I mad so many memories and so many friends There was always and will always be something to do because the party never ends Now I may not be a poet but this comes from the heart If you ask me to describe COP, I would say “man, I don’t know where to start” From laughter to fun, and all the giggles and smiles It will make you wanna say, oh wow, I think I stay here for more then a while The homeowners are great and welcoming to They treat you with kindness and leave the home remodeling to you The food was so great, I may have fallen in love with it I may have eaten to much, but I don’t regret it, not one bit The camp counselors are great, they make sure your having a good time And when it comes to fun, they are my partners in crime In the boys cabin, we were wacky and wild But we are boys, and that is our style Now let me come to a closing before I eat up all your time Sorry for the long poem, I think I’m now addicted to rhymes This camp is great, and it means so much to me Thank you for all you do, and I look forward to next years COP
